IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PHILADELPHIA, DE & MD CONTRACTORS


DELAWARE CONTRACTORS

Delaware contractors who sign up for only the 10 hour "NEC UPDATE" please be aware that this course consists of 9 hours code and one hour of NJ Law.  Delaware will only give you 9 hours of credit for this course.  If you are registering for the full program, the NEC UPDATE will count for 9 Delaware credit hours and any of the other Delaware approved courses will more than make up for the tenth hour.  For all other Delaware approved courses and credit hours, see the “Course Description” page of this website.

10 hrs of continuing education is required every 2 years, by June 30, of all even years

CECIL COUNTY, MD CONTRACTORS

5 Hours of continuing education are required each year between May 1 & April 30.

PHILADELPHIA CONTRACTORS

The Department of Labor & Industry for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has approved TES as a provider of Continuing Education Units (CEUs).  Credit hours and courses which are approved for Philadelphia Electrical contractors’ license renewal are listed on the “Course Description” page of this website.

Philadelphia requires 8 hours of continuing education credits every year between July 1 & June 30.  Please note that NO CREDITS will given for any our 10 hour NEC UPDATE courses, since Phila has not yet adopted the version of the NEC that we cover.
