NJ & PA PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS

NJ PE requirement: 24 credit hours every 2 years of State approved courses.  Deadline is April 30, 2012.  For additional information, on this requirement, visit the State Board’s Website www.njconsumeraffairs.gov/pels/ or call 973-504-6233

PA PE requirement: 24 credit hours every 2 years of courses that “maintain, improve or expand the skills and knowledge of a licensee’s professional practice”.  Deadline to accrue 24 credits is September 30, 2011.  The Board has decided to grant a moratorium from disciplinary action provided credit deficiencies are completed by April 1, 2012.  However in spite of that moratorium, if you have not earned 24 credits by Sep 30, 2011, you will not be allowed to renew your license.
